The granite of Sidobre in all its forms


Lacrouzette, industrial capital of Sidobre, like a pilgrimage to the land of granite. The Sidobre Massif is extraordinary, full of legends, inspired by rock masses, the Balmes, and these pebbles with extraordinary shapes. Here everything is granite, everything speaks of granite, it is as if the pebbles emerged from the forest. The Peyro-Clabado, the Roc de l'Oie, the Chaos of the Balme are illustrious examples. The pebbles also emerge from the clear waters of Lake Merle, the blue jewel of the Sidobre. In the village, the local sculptor, Jacques Bourges, made the monumental engraving on the aisles of the church, following his patented process of drawing with the shadow of small elements preserved in relief.

In the village, the statue of the Granit Tailor, another work of Jacques Bourges, is an ode to the stone carving profession.
It is an easy-to-live single-storey house, very well placed in the heart of the Sidobre massif. The beautiful swimming pool, totally private, will refresh you back from walk, in the Sidobre of course, the Castrais country or Albi, with its famous Episcopal City.


Independent house, on the outskirts of the village of Lacrouzette, enjoying outside a garden, a nice terrace overlooking the pool (9x4 m, from 0.90 to 2 m prof.), a carport.

The house consists of a living room, kitchen, veranda, three bedrooms, bathroom, wc. Central heating fuel. Fireplace in the living room (first flame offered). Baby equipment. Possibility of bed linen rental and cleaning service end of stay.
