The calm and sweetness of the countryside
Located in the middle of a 35 ha property and in the heart of a market garden, this cottage is ideally located at the gates of Lauragais and Pays de Cocagne, at the foot of the Black Mountain in a green and quiet environment.
Do not miss the springs of the Canal du Midi, the Rigole de Riquet, and the lake of Saint-Ferréol, with a very pleasant swimming in clear water (supervised swimming, leisure base, children’s games).
On the other hand, the bastide of Revel, its famous belfry and its traditional market, ranked among the 100 most beautiful markets in France. Right next door, the city of Sorèze, its Abbey-school and the Dom Robert Museum.
For your discoveries a little further: Carcassonne, Toulouse and Albi barely one hour apart. In Montagne Noire in the Parc Régional du Haut-Languedoc, you can enjoy many activities in all seasons (mountain biking, hiking, cycling, horse riding, paragliding, caving, etc.)
Farm gite, market garden farm. The gite is independent, it opened in spring 2019.
Terrace overlooking the fields, without any vis-à-vis, you will spend your evenings quiet, listening to the calm of the countryside. Garden furniture, barbecue.
Ground floor: large L-shaped living room with fully equipped open kitchen, sitting area (tv, sofa), wc. The two bedrooms, the bathroom and a second toilet are on the floor. First bedroom for two people (a bed in 140), second for three people (a bed in 140 and a bed in 90 bunk).
Bed linen and towels are provided, end of stay cleaning service included.

5/5Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le gîte d’Yves.
La maison est récente, grande, bien équipée (et elle garde le frais pendant la canicule !)
Nous avons apprécié les balades dans les champs avoisinants, ainsi que le temps passé avec Yves pour découvrir ses activités.

3.5/5Vacances sous le signe de la canicule. Le gîte, volets fermés, sait garder une température confortable par fortes chaleurs. Lieu calme et ressourçant. Les yeux des enfants ont brillé en observant la faune à proximité (lièvres, aigrettes, perdrix, écureuil).

5/5il est vraiment dommage pour un gite de cette qualité 3 épis que le séjour soir un peu ternis par l’état et le manque de matériel en cuisine une cocote minute minuscule tout droit sortie d'une brocante vue son état le frigo est petit en été c'est vite rempli avec les bouteilles d'eau j'ai dut acheté 3 bol pour déjeuner car il n'y a que des coupelles j'avais l'impression qu'il était équipé pour joué à la dinette petites casserole je ne parle pas de la table à repasser ect les 2 fauteuils en rotin sur la terrasse bons à la benne il n'y a même pas de détecteur de fumé il faut quand même pensé qu'il est fait pour 5 c'est vraiment dommage car j'ai quand même passée un excellent séjour le propriétaire à été de bon conseils pour visité la région je ne suis pas très exigent mais là vue la qualité de cette maison j'ai été vraiment surpris par une telle différence par rapport aux autres gites que j'ai loué voilà mon ressenti cela n'engage que moi
