At the edge of the Agout

On one side, the Agout and its wooded landscape, its waterfalls and rivers where nature lovers, fishermen, kayakers and climbers meet. On the other, Burlats and its history, the Pavillon d'Adélaïde, the Collegiate Church, or the Bistoure Tower… Poetry and legends inhabit these places and Princess Adelaide would not be completely foreign. You will fall under the spell of this place full of stories and poems. Adelaide, a princess with violet eyes, daughter of Raymond V Comte de Toulouse, is said to have held a court of love there. The troubadour Arnaud de Mareuil was madly in love with her, and was one of the few troubadours who loved and sang only one lady. This medieval period was lavish for this small village and you can enjoy this masterpiece of architecture. In the surroundings, the hiking trails give you an appointment with intense sports activities.

Recently designed house (2009) adjoining another house, next to the road leading from Castres to Burlats.

It overlooks a sloping garden leading to the banks of the Agout, where you can enjoy the freshness of the river. Two terraces, one on the riverside and one at the foot of the house, garden furniture, deckchairs, hammock, barbecue. Ground floor: living room with fully equipped open kitchen, sitting area, bathroom, toilet. Upstairs a bedroom (12 m2) river side with 1 bed 140/200, a mezzanine and a second bedroom (13m2) street side with 1 bed 140/190.
