Gîte d'étape la Fontaine

Welcome all year round of hikers, cyclists, riders, bikers for one or several nights in lodging stage, and of individuals, families, groups for lazy stays, relaxation, discoveries. Welcome at night, weekend or week.

With a total capacity of 13 people, packages in collective rooms, studio or complete set are possible.


In the middle of a park/garden, surrounded by 10 hectares of meadows, the cottage has two spaces:
- LE GRAND GITE: capacity 10 people, has a large common living room with kitchen, large table and small lounge area, 3 bedrooms each with their bathroom (2 bedrooms with 4 beds in bunk beds and a bedroom with a double bed), a south facing terrace.
- THE SMALL COTTAGE OR STUDIO: capacity 3 people, accessible to people with reduced mobility, with kitchen, bathroom with Italian shower, double bed, terrace facing south with view on the park.

Small stable with dry corner for storing bicycles and hiking equipment

Free running, sheets and towels are extra.

The deep forests and lakes of the Montagne Noire, at 600m altitude, in an exceptional environment, between springs of the Canal du Midi, Rigole de Riquet, basins of the Lampy or Vauban vault.
An old farmhouse recently restored, you will find the character of old buildings mixing stone and wood with a touch of demodernité! A cool, quiet place in a very natural environment.
You will find comfort and conviviality, we live there.

Equestrian tourism structure on site, the Etrier de la Montagne Noire, offers walks and horseback rides adapted to your level. You can enjoy the horses in the meadows around the cottage.
