Ideally located between Toulouse and Albi (freeway interchange 2km away), this gîte is an ideal base for discovering the Gaillac vineyards, the Bastides Albigeoises and, of course, Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site (Cathedral, Episcopal City...).

The Fombren gîte is in Montans. This site, occupied since prehistoric times, has been the site of remarkable excavations to help us understand the history of the region and its successive populations. This rich past and numerous excavations have led to the creation of the Montans Archeosite, where you can relive the past through exhibitions, workshops and displays.

THE GITE :

A spacious house in the heart of the countryside, where peace and quiet are guaranteed. This totally independent gîte is housed in an old U-shaped farmhouse with a large central courtyard.

First floor:
- Kitchen with central table, old fireplace and old cauldron
- Living/dining room with sofa and TV
- Bathroom with standard shower, single washbasin and toilet

First floor:

- Bedroom 1: double bed and former dressing table
- Bedroom 2: two double beds and a crib, plus storage space
- Bedroom 3: one double bed and one 120x200cm single bed. Large wardrobe and washbasin in bedroom
The house offers you the possibility of sleeping 9 but only one shower room.

Outside:
A large covered area lets you eat outside, sheltered from the sun (or rain!). The barbecue is just waiting for you! There's also a garden area to the side of the house, but if you need to, the fields all around you will be an endless playground.
