The climb is steep from Penne but the landscape is great! A limestone soil, a stunted vegetation, the sun is warm, we are well on the Causse de la Madeleine. At the end of the road, the small dirt road surrounded by walls testifies to the hamlet’s centennial history. It will take you to Figat where your cottage is, a little at the end of the world.

Detox stays are fashionable, here is an ideal lodging for a return to simple things during the holidays: rest, swim or canoe in the river (you can even go down on foot), hiking on the causse and in the Gorges, admire the panorama and the limestone cliffs.

Totally isolated in the countryside, the hamlet of Figat is set in a large meadow, an old agricultural hamlet composed of several houses and barns of the 19th century that are uninhabited. For tranquility, no doubt, you are in the right place.
