Set of 2 gites of character located on a vineyard near the antique Roman Street (who), in an old Abbey was first Benedictine in the year 817, then became a Priory of Cistercian during his attachment to the Frontfroide Abbey in 1189. The framework consists of vineyards in small patches of pine groves full of cicadas, rockeries and ponds in the distance, is ideal for small discovery walks as you are here in the Regional Natural Park of the Narbonne. Village is 5 km with small shops and restaurants. The sea is 20 minutes, Narbonne 15 mn and Carcassonne 1 h. Gite Sarrasine: adjoining another gite, you have a kitchen overlooking a South Terrace of approximately 27 m² with barbecue griddle, garden furniture. Fireplace with wood at disposal for a half season. WC. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms with SE en-suite, 2 beds 90 and 1 bed 180, wc. Reversible air conditioning, cleaning, bed linen and towels at the request. Parking at 20 m from the cottage with removal of baggage possible before the cottage.

la courette devant la pièce à vivre est minuscule et la vue bloquéec' est dommage dans un si bel endroit

un accueil très chaleureux , les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute de leurs hôtes, ils produisent par ailleurs des vins bien équilibrés qui se laissent déguster facilement (mais avec modération, cela va sans dire)avec une mention toute particulière pour leur vin blanc et le Banuyls issu de très vieilles vignes. Le domaine Ste Eugénie et les gites sont dans l'enceinte d'une ancienne abbaye vassale de Fontfroide: autant dire que c'est de la belle construction, aux murs épais qui assurent une fraicheur bien venue en été , le gite est très bien équipé, notamment en matériel de cuisine (ce qui est assez rare), bien confortable (super le lit de 180), dans un environnement très calme et reposant , nous avons bien apprécié également les salles d'eau attenantes aux chambres et leur douche à l'italienne , seul petit bémol pour lequel les propriétaires ne peuvent malheureusement rien : la route qui même au domaine est très dégradée par endroits. C'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons y séjourner à l'occasion.
