Maison de la Couscoulière

In the heart of the Corbières, the Couscoulière guest house opens its doors to you for a unique stay in a natural setting with magnificent landscapes and a breathtaking view. This restful place where calm and serenity reigns, you will appreciate the numerous walks to be made from the house to be in contact with nature, fauna and flora. The Alaric massif and the Congoust gorges are accessible from a direct path. Nearby, there are many places to visit: the city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, one of the most beautiful villages in France: Lagrasse, or the surrounding area with the river Orbieu which runs alongside the village of Ribaute. It is also the place to discover the local terroir: organic wine. On the spot, you will have access to the private terrace with garden furniture and a direct view on the owners' common swimming pool which will also be accessible for you (to be shared with the two other gîtes only, under conditions for the gîtes), it is open from mid-May until the end of October depending on the season (dimensions: 12x3,50) with counter-current swimming. You will be able to refresh yourself while enjoying moments of relaxation around the pool under the sun of the region on the deckchairs. The parking is private inside the property.

The 19m2 Couscoulière room has a 140x190 bed with a desk area, a courtesy tray (kettle, coffee, tea). The spacious bathroom is private and adjoining the room (shower, washbasin and WC). Breakfast is included as well as WIFI connection. Baby equipment on request. Pets are not accepted due to the presence of animals on the property (dogs).
