Le Caraillet

In the heart of an unspoilt village in the wild Corbières, a small gîte carefully renovated in 2018. The living room opens onto a shady enclosed courtyard. Inside, the renovation has preserved the character of the building: old stones, wood. The shower room is original because it is cleverly arranged on the rock. The surrounding countryside alternates between green oak woods and wild garrigues. Nearby: The remarkable sites of the Cathar country of Aguilar at 13 km, Quéribus at 25 km, Peyrepertuse at 30 km, and the nearby village of Cucugnan.
Carcassonne is 1 hour 15 minutes away and the beaches of the Mediterranean 1 hour away. The gîte is on 2 levels. Upper ground floor: Living room with equipped kitchen area opening onto an enclosed courtyard of about 30 m2 (garden furniture and barbecue). Lower ground floor: bedroom with 1 double bed (140 cm), small shower room with WC. The owners live in the adjoining house. They leave their laundry room available (shared washing machine).
 Parking in the village with the possibility of depositing luggage at 50 m.
