L'Appartement du Palais

In the Palais district of Carcassonne, renowned for its old houses of character which combine comfort, quality and decoration of yesteryear, discover the Appartement du Palais. This little jewel for 2 people offers a pleasant setting and a location in the immediate vicinity of all the attractions of the medieval town, less than 10 minutes away on foot: the Cité de Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the Tourist Office, the Museum of Fine Arts or all the shops in the historic town centre of the Bastide Saint-Louis with its unmissable cultural events such as the music festival of the Cité or the local festivals. On site, you will have a fully private terrace with garden furniture to enjoy the sunshine of the region while relaxing over a meal or a coffee. The terrace overlooks the property's heated swimming pool (8x4m) which is also at your disposal (it is shared with the guest rooms). The interior of the gîte has been tastefully renovated, allowing you to immerse yourself in centuries of history during your stay. The flat does not have private parking but you can park for free in the street around the gîte or in the underground car park a few steps away.


The gîte is on one level with an access through the common hall of the building, it opens on the living room with a sofa, armchairs and an office corner with a direct access to the independent shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. On the back side of the gîte: a separate fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave and dishwasher) which gives access to the terrace and the outside area and a bedroom with a double bed. WIFI connection in the gîte. A launderette is located a few metres from the gîte. All-inclusive services (bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning).
