L'Ancienne Poste

In the heart of the charming village of La Cassaigne, surrounded by the surrounding hills of the Pays Lauragais, discover the gîte "L'Ancienne Poste" which, as its name indicates, used to house the village post office. Its location is exceptional, with a direct view from the garden of the Church of Notre-Dame, which is decorated in a variety of ways by day and by night. A private salt water swimming pool (6,3x3x1,5) is at your disposal to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and relax under the sun of the Aude and its private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The village has an atypical architecture where you can stroll through its historic streets. Many places to discover around La Cassaigne are less than half an hour away: the medieval village of Fanjeaux, the City of Carcassonne, the Abbey of Saint-Papoul, the Canal du Midi or Castelnaudary and its famous dish, cassoulet!

The gîte has direct access to the first floor from the outside. This first floor includes a large living room with a sitting area with sofas and a TV and a dining area. An independent and fully equipped kitchen with direct access to a small living room equipped with a sofa bed. On the second floor, the gîte has a bedroom with a double bed and a TV. A second bedroom with a double bed. A third bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with a private bathroom (shower, washbasin and WC). An independent shower room with a shower, a double washbasin and a WC. On the ground floor a large laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer and with direct access to the outside of the gîte. All-inclusive services (bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning). Baby equipment on request. WIFI. Non-private parking but possibility to park in front of the gîte or in the car park next door less than 10m from the gîte.
