The Domaine de l'Hermitage, located 3 kms from Saint Papoul, is a haven of peace for the animals living on the estate: peacocks, ducks, geese... Many activities are possible from the domain. Nature lovers can go walking or mountain biking on the many surrounding paths, being located in the foothills of the Montagne Noire. From a cultural point of view, you have the beautiful Abbey of Saint Papoul, Castelnaudary or even Toulouse and Carcassonne nearby.
From June to September, the swimming pool is available (12X6), common to all the accommodations on the domain.
The gîte is located on the estate which includes other furnished accommodation. The gîte is on the first floor, with a beautiful terrace of 30 m2 to enjoy the beautiful days, facing the garden. Garden furniture and barbecue available. The gîte: You enter through the fully equipped kitchen, which opens onto a large living room with an open fireplace. For the night part, there are two bedrooms with double beds (140cm) and one bedroom with two single beds (90cm). There is a shower room. An independent WC. Garage. Electric heating in supplement in winter period.

Déçus Stay from to
1.3/5Pas d’accueil, juste une visite du père du propriétaire la veille de notre départ. Le gîte de l’Hermitage est en globalité mal entretenu. Fuite d’eau au niveau du velux de la salle d’eau (pas d’aujourd’hui vue les traces), vaisselle sale et insuffisante. Ménage à revoir et j’en passe

3.5/5Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé une semaine au calme dans un espace très vert. Le logement était spacieux, très fonctionnel et sécurisé pour des enfants en bas âge (piscine et terrasse). Domaine totalement clôturé et résidents à l'année très discrets.
Néanmoins il y a quelques points qui méritent une attention particulière :
- Manque d'entretien des extérieurs (location et domaine) pour lesquels il faudrait un bon coup de nettoyage
- Sol autour de la piscine non fini, dégradation de certains murs
- Bruits durant le jour et la nuit venant du local technique (quand quelqu'un prend de l'eau) situé sous la location vite devenus insupportables surtout la nuit et pour lesquels aucune solution n'a été trouvéeLes quelques points ci-dessus n'ont pas entaché notre recherche de calme et de repos, nous avons profité d'une très grande piscine fort agréable et nos enfants ont été charmés par tous les animaux présents dans le domaine

4/5Un gîte très sympa, un propriétaire super gentil et très attentionné et réactif, un lieu de résidence entouré d'animaux et très au calme, ce qui fut appréciable !
Une piscine à disposition plutôt grande et agréable.
Juste à redire une chose (que l'on a d'ailleurs laissé écrit sur le livre d'or du propriétaire) : la climatisation va devenir obligatoire car deux seuls ventilateurs font bien trop peu l'été !- Cleanliness 4/5

Bonjour, merci pour votre avis et le commentaire très agréable. Nous avons traversé une période très chaude cet été partout en France. Jusqu'ici la climatisation n'était pas nécessaire ... espérons que cet été 2022 reste exceptionnel de par son intensité...
