Situated in Sallèles d'Aude, a circular village nestled in the heart of the Languedoc vineyards, close to the Mediterranean coast and crossed by the Canal de Jonction carrying the boats of the Canal de Midi to Narbonne, with its tree-lined lanes ideal for walks and its streams for fishing enthusiasts, this gîte offers a peaceful and pleasant setting.
The gîte, located on the edge of the road to Mirepeisset and the canal, is accessed by an outside staircase. The first small terrace, from which you can watch the boats pass by, gives access to the gîte's living room, a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a south-facing terrace with a sheltered dining area and electric barbecue. Two sun loungers are available to enjoy the peace and quiet. A master bedroom with a 160cm double bed and a second bedroom with two 80cm single beds. A bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Electric heating is available on request and at an additional cost.
Parking is available at the foot of the gîte, and there is a spacious garage for your vehicle. Two bicycles are available.
In the village: the Amphoralis site, a Gallo-Roman pottery village. Restaurants and shops on site.

4.3/5Hébergement en phase avec sa tarification, à l'exception peut-être du chauffage qui n'est pas efficient : isolation "ancienne" et convecteurs en sous-nombre mènent à une difficulté de maintenir un 19°C ambiant alors que la température extérieure était de 8°C la nuit et 13°C le jour.
Excellent accueil des propriétaires et bonne réactivité.

5/5La situation face au canal de jonction et la terrasse ombragée même avec les moustiques (hélas) mais les propriétaires, qui n'y peuvent strictement rien, nous ont fourni un système répulsif très efficace.

Nous espérons que vous avez pu profiter des nombreuses activités et visites possibles dans notre belle région. Nous comprenons que la route devant le gîte puisse être un peu bruyante par moments dans la journée, mais le soir elle est généralement assez calme. De plus, la chambre est à l’arrière et donc protégée contre les nuisances sonores.
