In this old building dating from 1880, belonging to the family of Doctor Mendy d'Irissarry since 1930, Cristina of Brazilian origin and her husband Xabier (grandson of the Doctor) open the doors of their house to you to share their varied table and colorful.
All the original decoration of this family home has been preserved. The history of the house and the presentation of the Basque Country have been highlighted.
Breakfast (promoting homemade and local products) will be served in a very large living room or on the south terrace.
The 3 bedrooms (3 beds 150, 2 beds 90) all different offer you a panorama of the surrounding Basque mountains.
Finally, domestic hot water and heating are provided by a pellet boiler which proves that renewable energies provide all the comfort that our guests expect!
The park will allow you to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the area.
The owners speak Basque.

    Nous avons passé un séjour tres agréable. La batisse est très bien rénovée et décorée, au calme.
    Le petit déjeuner était excellent.
    Nos hôtes étaient exceptionnels, très attentifs et accueillants, nous reviendrons, merci encore!

    I walked in to the Gite from the Voie de la Nive and was overheating from very hot temperatures that day.

    My host assisted me greatly in getting comfortable with fresh juice and with the time on how to get groceries.

    They also served an amazing breakfast.

    All together a fantastic stay and they are wonderful hosts.
