"Domaine de Gavaudun" is a beautiful 35 ha property with a hilly landscape, wooded areas and meadows. It's a green and quiet oasis set in a great location in the south of historic Périgord, very close to Quercy, Gascony and Guyenne. The old buildings have been tastefully restored and converted into modern accommodations. Added to the natural surroundings and the many activities on site and nearby, be ready to spend an unforgettable holiday. On site, 26 gîtes and houses for 2 to 18 people. Activities on site: bar, inn, swimming pool, spa (sauna, jacuzzi), tennis, basket-ball, volley-ball, table tennis, petanque, billiard, play ground, strolling paths,… Near the property: horse riding (lessons, hacking,…), mountain bikes, climbing, potholing, kayaking, fishing, Buggy, all kinds of excursions. YOUR ACCOMMODATION: La Bergerie is a rustic-style gîte for 8 (10 maximum) featuring 3 bedrooms, including one you access from outside. All mod-cons (3 bathrooms). It stands in the centre of the property which is very practical if you want to participate to the diverse activities but therefore a bit less quiet in the summer than the other accommodations that are further away. Upstairs: a bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds, shower room with wash basin and separate toilet + a bedroom you access from outside with double bed and single bed, shower room with wash basin and toilet. Ground level: dining room / lounge (sofa bed for 2), open equipped kitchen (dish-washer, electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge), a bedroom with double bed bathroom with a bathroom featuring tub/shower and wash basin, separate toilet. Very large terrace. The accommodation is fully furnished and equipped, garden furniture on the terrace. There is also a compact hi-fi system and DVD players for hire. The free Wi-Fi is accessible everywhere. Bed linen and bathroom can be provided. The laundry room is shared and there's a charge to use it.
