You'll fall under the spell of this 19th-century château overlooking the 1.3ha park planted with large cedars, magnolias... Inside, you'll find spacious rooms with exceptional decor that will make you feel like you're living outside of time. Admire the furniture, decor and paintings! The first floor features a kitchen, a large dining room and a 60m² living room. Upstairs, the 5 bedrooms are all very spacious, from 20 to 26m², and wonderfully furnished. Each has its own private bathroom. Two bedrooms each with 1 bed 160-200; two bedrooms each with a bed 140*190 and one bedroom with 3 beds 90*190. A folding bed is also available. Each room represents its own era: it's hard to choose between Empire, Louis XIII, Louis XV, Louis XVI or ... Parfum d'Asie! A Yamaha digital piano (a concession to modernism) is at your disposal in the large living room. All shops are nearby in the commune of Ahuillé (food, hairdressing and beauty treatments). Access on foot, 700m. Discover the city of Laval with its Museum of Naive and Singular Art (MANA), the historic center, Le Carré, a national theater scene, and its marina with boat, pedal-boat and bicycle rentals in season. In Laval, you can also follow the towpath of the Vélo Francette (from Ouistréam to La Rochelle), which takes you either to Mayenne or Château-Gontier. The Robert Tatin Museum in Cossé le Vivien, with its giant sculptures, is also worth a visit. Château-Gontier, a "Ville d'Or" (Golden City) with an award for flowers, offers a historic town, a marina and a wide range of activities (kayaking, paddle-boating, bicycles, electric and pedal boats, etc., and even water-skiing), as well as the Refuge de l'Arche, a must-see animal park in Mayenne (home to sick and abandoned animals, in particular).
