La planète des crocodiles à Civaux
A tropical adventure at Planète Crocodiles de Civaux
A tropical adventure to experience with family or friends beneath a 5,000m² dome. 200 specimens of reptiles : caymans, Chinese and Mississippi alligators, Nile crocodiles, chameleons, turtles, etc. among more than 1,000 tropical plants in a huge greenhouse which recreates the climate in which the different species live freely.
Choose from 3 different trails : adventure, animal or plant. Travel from one continent to another where the plants and reptiles are « at home ». An aerial suspended pathway 10 metres above the animals will make your hair stand on end as you get really close to them !
Activities are organized during (French) school holidays to get to know more about the animals and have fun at the same time : « special » encounters to feed the animals, animal- keeper workshops for adults and children, a treasure hunt featuring the 5 senses, leisure activity workshops, a detective enquiry in the tropics and night time exploration. There is certainly something for everyone !
This unique experience will enable you to meet the smallest crocodile and the largest reptile in the world against a backdrop for would-be adventurers, to take time to go from one zone to another and take part in activities and to discover the many different plants.
To prolong the experience, the Wallaby Café offers dishes based around local or ethnic produce. The restaurant is open to everyone, not only visitors to Planète Crocodiles.
