Then, set out to conquer the majestic American sites of the Great War and discover the town of Château-Thierry, birthplace and source of inspiration for Jean De La Fontaine.

Fancy a holiday in the country but not too far from tourist attractions and a town? Welcome to the community gîte of Veuilly-la-Poterie, a village typical of the southern Aisne. You will be staying alongside the Champagne Tourist route so be sure to visit a wine cellar and sample some of the famous bubbly. You can also explore majestic American war memorials from World War I and the town of Château-Thierry, birthplace and inspiration of Jean de La Fontaine. Renovated house adjoining town hall in village 17 km from Château-Thierry. Ground floor: dining room/kitchen, sitting room. On upper level: shower room and bathroom, 2 WCs. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 singles, 2 bunk beds). Private fenced garden. Oil fired heating : (May-Sept) 30€/week, (Oct-April) 60€/week, 10€/weekends. Charge for firewood.
