Just a 3-minute drive will take you to the magnificent Pointe des Châteaux peninsula. Famous for its spectacular scenery, you can also enjoy a short, easy hike up to the top of the hill where a huge cross stands, offering a breathtaking view of the Pointe de L'île.
Saint-François, originally a fishing town, is renowned for its fine sandy beaches - such as Plage des Salines and Plage de l'Anse à la Gourde, just a 2-minute drive from your B&B - as well as its many restaurants where you can sample freshly caught seafood.
Back at your gîte, you can relax in the swimming pool or on the covered terrace to the sound of birdsong.
