Futuroscope
The Leisure Park of the Future – you’ll never guess what’s in store for you !
Futuroscope has been open to ‘youngsters’ aged from 1 to 99 for the past 30 years in families, groups or alone. A real adventure playground for young and old, allow 2 full days to see everything in the 35 hectare park.
It is easy to recognise the park from afar by the futuristic architecture of its different buildings : Kinemax, Pavillon du Futuroscope, Tapis Magique, Imax 3D, Pavillon de la Vienne and Omnimax.

What to see and do near Futuroscope

There are plenty of restaurants dotted about the park so you can spend the whole day there, and if you feel like a little snooze, there are Fatboy armchairs on the grass.
Futuroscope is less than 20 minutes from Poitiers, an Art and History City where history lovers can marvel at the church of Notre-Dame la Grande, Cathedral Saint-Pierre, Baptistery Saint-Jean and the former Palais des Ducs d’Aquitaine. The Parc de Saint-Cyr for swimming, fishing and golf is 12km away. The wine-growing region of Haut-Poitou is nearby too, and it is well worth staying a little longer in Vienne to discover its delights.
Futuroscope is very easy to get to by car, via the A10 autoroute from Paris or Bordeaux, and by train as there is a TGV station within the Parc.
Futuroscope opens on 9 February and is closed on certain days in autumn.
