Raised old house, all-inclusive gite (except tourist tax). 1st level (access via 11 steps): Living room/lounge/kitchen, wc. Floor: (access by steep staircase). 1 bedroom (bed 180x200), shower room. Room under the house with outside access (washing machine. WIFI connection. Electric heating (included in the prices). Charming closed courtyard of 65 m² closed, bike room (locked), possibility of loaning 2 bikes, electric barbecue. Included in the prices: Heating, electricity, sheets (beds made), towels, end of stay cleaning. You will love the charm of your gite's old stonework and its small courtyard facing the Romanesque church which owes its reputation to its remarkable frescoes. You will be situated in a small wine-making village on the banks of the Vienne, a tributary of the 'royal river' ? the Loire, set not far from Chinon, a marvellous Loire Valley medieval town with a royal château. The location offers many advantages. Firstly, the peace and quiet but also the proximity of architectural treasures (Château of Le Rivau and its gardens, the town of Cardinal de Richelieu, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, etc.), the numerous winegrowers who will show you their winery and provide a tasting of exceptional wines, and the nature which offers so many opportunities to contemplate fundamentals. Touraine is home to big names such as Chenonceau, Amboise, Rigny-Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Langeais and Loches. The confluence with Candes-St-Martin, one of the 'Most Beautiful Villages in France'.

Charme et authenticité
5/5Petit gîte très bien aménagé, confortable et avec le charme des vieilles pierres. La place de parking et la petite cour privée sont un véritable plus. Il est très bien situé pour faire de nombreuses visites. Je recommande.

Calme et simplicité
4/5Gîte au coeur d'un petit village calme. Belle restauration de la maison mais dommage que le plafond dans l'escalier soit trop bas et attention à la poutre au milieu de la chambre surtout lorsque l'on se lève la nuit les 1ères nuits. Idem pour la baignoire M. Marché a lui-même constaté qu'elle n'était pas pratique et doit la remplacer par une douche. Sinon logement très propre et accueil de M. Marché très sympathique et professionnel, de bons conseils et à l'écoute des locataires. Bien situé par rapport aux châteaux et villes à visiter.

Bonjour, nous vous remercions pour votre séjour et sommes heureux que celui-ci, ainsi que le gîte, aient globalement répondu à toutes vos attentes. La baignoire va effectivement être remplacée par une douche d'ici fin janvier ou février 2023. D'ici là, la baignoire reste parfaitement adaptée et très confortable : nous n'avons jamais eu à ce jour de remarque à ce sujet. Quant à la la chambre, une des photos diffusée sur Internet montre très explicitement, et plus précisément, ce que vous évoquez dans la première partie de votre commentaire. Bien cordialement à vous.

Excellent location in small village
4/5This is a very well appointed gite in an interesting area. We benefited from the peaceful location and warm welcome from our host. For us, the low beam in the bedroom presented a challenge initially and guests need to be aware of the height restriction on the stairs also.
