This 19th-century gîte is nestled in a troglodytic site in the heart of the village of Luynes. A haven of peace and quiet, it's the ideal place for a couple to spend a holiday in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire region. This cosy cocoon is also the ideal base for a vacation exploring the Touraine region. You'll be right on the doorstep of Tours (less than 10 minutes away), and of everything that makes the Loire Valley so rich and famous. You'll be within easy reach of the most famous châteaux, including Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Villandry, Rigny-Ussé (home of Sleeping Beauty), Chenonceau and Amboise! The village of Luynes is home to a lesser-known but equally majestic château. The Touraine vineyards most famous for their Loire wines are also not far away: Chinon, Bourgueil, St Nicolas, Vouvray, Montlouis...
19th-century character gîte nestled in a troglodytic site in the heart of the village of Luynes. Ground floor: living room, sitting room (sofa, TV), kitchen, shower room and toilet. First floor: 1 bedroom with washbasin (bed 160). Electric heating (5 to 8 €/day). Enclosed courtyard. Gîte for 2 people max. Non-smoking accommodation. Optional extras (end-of-stay cleaning, towels and sheets) to be paid directly to the owner.

Un lieu de sérénité
5/5Un lieu très agréable, au calme, plein de charme, conforme au descriptif et une propriétaire adorable.
A noter, couverture 4G pas terrible dans le secteur (avec free) mais répéteur wifi correct et escalier pour accéder à la chambre plutôt pentu.

A very enjoyable 2 weeks in the Loire.
4/5The gite is situated in a very pleasant private and secluded area, surrounded with flowers. It has off-street car parking and an outside covered patio area with table and chairs.
The gite is well serviced with kitchen appliances (even having a teapot).
The shower has excellent hot water and the large double bed is very comfortable.The owner, Madame Teyras, was very helpful and welcoming, with lots of sightseeing advice. It was a very enjoyable stay.

5/5Très jolie maison ancienne, aménagée avec style et goût. L'espace extérieur fleuri ainsi que la terrasse couverte permettent d'agréables moments de repos, au calme qui plus est.
Nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse par la propriétaire Mme Teyras qui est aux petits soins pour ses vacanciers.

Lovely place
5/5Lovely stay and the owner was an extremely lovely lady who made us feel very welcome in lots of ways.
The property was extremely historic and the village was wonderful. As the property was near a cliff Wi Fi was patchy at times but it did not make a bad influence on our lovely stay.
The stairs to the first floor were steep so would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. All in all well worth a visit and the area is beautiful.- Cleanliness 5/5
