Indeed, this tower is truly a unique Touraine gîte, not only for its architecture, which exudes history, but also for its exceptional natural setting, in the heart of the Touraine countryside, with the river flowing right by its door... This 15th-century building is listed in the ISMH (Monuments Historiques), and was once the conciergerie of the Château de Montgoger, of which only the remains remain today. The superb restoration work carried out on the tower offers its occupants a high level of comfort, a warm atmosphere enhanced by the furniture, tones and colors, and the uniqueness of the place, all in perfect harmony! The only thing missing is you, who are simply expected...
Magnificent, cosy gîte for 2 people, in a tower listed by Monuments Historiques. Ground floor: living room with fully-equipped kitchen (fireplace, etc.). An authentic old stone spiral staircase leads to the 2 floors. 1st floor: living room (fireplace, sofa, etc.). 2nd floor: bedroom with new, top-of-the-range bedding (king-size bed 180x200), shower room with toilet. WIFI connection. Electric heating (€12/day). Private, unfenced grounds of 3000 m². Not recommended for young children due to interior staircase and unsecured river. Owners' swimming pool 500 m away (shared). Bed linen and towels included. POOL OPENING (heated from 21/05 to 17/09): 14/05 to 24/09.

Rêves dans la tour
5/5Nous sommes restés à la tour pendant 2 semaines. Nous avons vraiment apprécié, surtout le calme et la tranquillité, le gîte confortable et le cadre magnifique. Si vous cherchez quelque chose d'original, vous êtes au bon endroit. Le seul bémol est l'escalier en colimaçon, qui ne serait pas si grave s'il y avait des toilettes au rez-de-chaussée. Je souffre moi-même d'arthrose aux deux jambes mais cela ne m'a pas empêché de louer ce gîte. On s'habitue aux escaliers et puis c'est tout simplement génial.
La piscine du propriétaire se trouve dans sa ferme à proximité. C'était relaxant de prendre un bain frais par une chaude journée. Le propriétaire lui-même est très gentil et discret mais est toujours disponible en cas de problème que nous n'avons pas eu.
Il y a beaucoup à visiter dans la région. Nous avions avec nous notre petit chien qui aimait tout faire avec nous. Les chiens sont autorisés dans les jardins des châteaux en laisse et vous pouvez généralement les emmener dans vos bras ou dans un sac dans les châteaux eux-mêmes.- Cleanliness 5/5

Architettura e collocazione senza eguali.
Accoglienza da parte del proprietario totalmente positiva;ideale per chi desidera staccare totalmente.
Struttura perfettamente attrezzata;nuova pulita e funzionale.
TV lavatrice,lavastoviglie e finalmente una Wi-fi realmente funzionante!!!
Primo supermercato a circa 10/15 Km.

Un séjour calme dans un endroit de caractère.
5/5Un bâtiment de caractère avec une très belle rénovation, plongé dans le calme d'une campagne riante. Un aménagement chaleureux et fonctionnel. Un salon doté d'une belle bibliothèque, une chambre spacieuse voire monumentale. Un accueil prévenant et agréable.

Charmant et paisible
4/5Agréable séjour dans cette Tourette qui a bénéficié d'une très belle rénovation. Proche des sites à visiter tout en étant au calme. Nous n'avons pas toujours eu le beau temps mais un large choix de lecture nous a permis de profiter de moments de repos.
