Les Grands Moulins

The town of Châteaudun, which has been awarded the "Plus beau Détour de France" label, offers a large self-catering gîte at the foot of its castle. On the banks of the Loir, next to the Club Canoë Kayak Dunois and hiking trails, the former Grands Moulins water mill has been transformed into a holiday, group and stopover gîte, with a capacity of 12 people in 5 bedrooms. It's the ideal starting point for visiting the town and surrounding area, organizing hikes (gîte Accueil vélo) or fishing weekends, with dedicated premises! First floor: reception hall, kitchen/dining room and sanitary facilities (WC, washbasin). 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm), 1 bedroom with 3 single beds (90cm), and sanitary facilities: 2 WCs, showers, 3 washbasins. Second floor: 1 room with 3 beds 90, 2 rooms with 2 beds 90, and sanitary facilities. Activities: canoeing/whitewater rafting, horse riding, fishing, hiking, cycling. Comfort: heating, double glazing, shower, separate toilet, private terrace/balcony Facilities: library, communal kitchen, closed equipment room, TV lounge Services: tourist information, free internet, linen hire (€4 towels / €8 sheets) Open all year round, open from 2 pm to 6 pm from 01/04 to 31/10 and by reservation only from 01/11 to 31/03.
