Un Temps pour soi

In the charming wine-growing village of Coulanges la Vineuse, near Auxerre and 1h30mn from Paris by train, the gîte "un temps pour soi" welcomes you all year round for convivial moments with family or friends.
Whether you're a hiking, mountain biking or gastronomy enthusiast, a wine lover or simply looking for some peace and quiet, let yourself be seduced by this gîte, nestled at the foot of hiking trails. With its enclosed garden planted with trees and its view of the countryside and cherry trees, it's the ideal place to disconnect from everyday life and recharge your batteries. The house has been completely restored, retaining the authentic charm of its beams and stonework.
It is fully equipped to offer you all modern comforts: induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, clothes steamer, fan, etc. On the first floor: a large, bright living room with fully-equipped kitchen, flexible lounge and large-screen TV, a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
You'll be delighted to gather around the large farmhouse table or the wood-burning stove for cosy get-togethers. A reading corner and board games are also available. Upstairs: a comfortable rest area with 2 communicating bedrooms in the basement, including 1 bedroom on the landing, each with 2 single beds. In the garden, you'll find various rest areas for a siesta or a reading break in the shade of the trees.
For the more active, there's a ping-pong table. Garden furniture and an electric barbecue/plancha complete the outdoor layout, as does a covered terrace for additional relaxation. Mountain bikers can store their bikes in a sheltered area, and an outdoor hose is available for cleaning equipment. Gîte not accessible to PRM.
Self-service electric bike hire available in the courtyard of the town hall, with drop-off and recharging stations throughout the Auxerrois region. Indoor parking for vehicles.


The village has been awarded the "Cités de caractère" label. Here, you can stroll around and observe the vestiges of the past.
In late March, early April, you can admire the spectacle of the cherry blossoms. Of course, you'll also be able to visit the cellars and taste the wines, and why not take a tour of the Musée de la vigne (vine museum) and its felling press on request. From April to October, take a trip to the Maison du Pays Coulangeois, where contemporary Icaunois artists exhibit in 4 rooms, including 2 vaulted cellars. The village also boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant, a wine bar and an ideal location for exploring the region's countless treasures.
Auxerre 20mn - Vézelay 40mn - Guédelon 35 mn..... Shops are 4 km away, with home delivery service available. If you arrive by train, Auxerre station is 15 km away, with car rental available. You'll also benefit from an all-inclusive package to make the most of your stay.

Bed and household linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning, heating, cleaning products and basic kitchen products. Cot, high chair and safety gate available on request. The convertible sofa in the living room (120 cm bed) can accommodate one or two extra people for €15 per extra person.
