Nestled at the foot of a wooded hill, in the hollow of a magnificent unspoiled rural valley alternating between meadows, vineyards, ponds, hedgerows & forests, within a protected area classified as "Natura 2000", the picturesque town of Bissy-sous- Uxelles (one of the smallest towns in Saône-et-Loire!) has a very typical architectural heritage (typical houses with "Mâconnaise galleries", houses of character, very rare oval-shaped 19th century polygonal washhouse with impluvium, late 18th century church…) and offers a small play area for children.
