Living room with kitchen opening onto dining room and sitting room, with exposed stonework. 1 sofa-bed. Bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm) that can be twinned to form a double bed (180cm). En-suite shower room. Separate WC. Bed linen, cleaning, heating and electricity included. Cot and highchair. Bicycle room and washing machine in basement. Public parking in front of the gîte. Small secret garden 50 m away, out of sight and with views over the vineyards.
In Santenay: numerous wine-tasting cellars, casino with slot machines and gaming tables, La Voie des Vignes cycle route through the vineyards to Beaune, Nolay or the long Canal du Centre. Authentic windmill. Restaurants. Numerous hikes in the vineyards, on the Montrachet hill or the 3 Croix mountain. Climbing sites.
Nearby: the châteaux of Pommard, Meursault, La Rochepot, Couches. Other wine villages with evocative names: Chassagne and Puligny-Montrachet, les Maranges, Saint Aubin... 15 min from Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wines, famous for its Hospices, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Numerous events on the winegrowing coast throughout the year: Saint Vincent tournante, film and music festivals, wine sales, etc. (wifi access and bike rental available at the Santenay tourist office).
