Attractive gîte, tastefully renovated by wine-growing couple, on edge of forest below château of La Rochepot. Ground floor (exposed beams & stone walls, tiled floor): large living room with lounge area, dining room & fitted kitchen, separate WC. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms, each with own shower room & WC. Heating: wood-burning stove (firewood supplied). Separate entrance, private parking. The gîte is located in extension to owners' large winegrower's house also comprising wine tasting cellar and 2 guest rooms (B&B). Internet connection possible (but not always assured). Nearby: walking/hiking trails, 12th century castle. Nolay (shops/services) 4km. Cycle track and Voie Verte (footpath for walkers, cyclists, etc.). Lots to see and do in 15km radius: Hospices at Beaune (UNESCO World Heritage site), Bout du Monde waterfall, medieval market hall at Nolay, Gallo-Roman remains at Autun.... Natural swimming pool at Beaune, Or lakes at Tailly. Casino and Les Trois Croix mount at Santenay

2.3/5Achtung, das 2. Schlafzimmer hat nur ein Dachflächenfenster, man kann nicht heraus sehen. Es gibt nur eine kleine eher ungepflegte Rasenfläche vor dem Haus am Rand des Parkplatzes als Terrasse. Wenig Wasser aus der Dusche. Wein-Verkostung beim Winzer (Vermieter) wurde abgelehnt, da es angeblich keinen Wein mehr gäbe. Haus aber sehr ruhig, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und relativ kühl.

,dommage que le frigidaire n'ait pas de compartiment freezer ou congélation ce manque est compensé par la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui nous a gardé les glaçons
Un petit cadeau de bienvenue comme cela se pratique dans les gîtes aurait été apprécié
Mais nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un cadre magnifique et reposant- Cleanliness 4/5
