Three-storey, traditional stone house 2km from sources of river Seine. Garden level (opening onto large corner terrace with lawn): kitchen, dining/sitting room (wood-burning stove) opening onto glassed-in veranda, bathroom, separate WC, utility room. Ground floor (accessed via stone staircase): entrance hall on street side leading to large bedroom (double bed), large lounge with reading/music area (very modern décor, inset fireplace). Upper floor: mezzanine (TV, study area), 2 large bedrooms (double bed in each), 2 smaller bedrooms (double bed) (single bed), 2 shower rooms/WC. Each room has its own colour scheme. 2 extra beds possible. Covered terrace with old bread oven (perfect for pizza parties). Free-standing swimming pool, open early June to September, depending on weather. Table tennis table. Garden (600 sq.m.). Electric heating (charge based on actual consumption). Free firewood. Gîte in lovely natural setting, enhanced by village wash house and little lake. Beautiful sunsets with light playing on the fountain - a real picture postcard! Forests nearby, great for walks. Villages of Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye, Salmaise, Flavigny-sur-Ozerain. Enjoy days out at such major sites as Bussy-Rabutin, Fontenay, Semur-en-Auxois and the Buffon ironworks and, of course, Dijon and the wine-growing Côte.

4/5A fantastic place for children and the dog . Our 8 year old grandson commented: this is really a place where they love children and their sports. Everything was available; baby foot, grounds for football, ping pong table, magnetic darts board, petanque balls,basketball goal,...
For the grandparents, there were a lot of stairs.

4.3/5Accueil très chaleureux, les hôtes très disponibles à nos besoins.
La maison est agréable malgré des escaliers un peu étroits pour mes parents âgés. Il y a tt ce qu'il faut en équipements.
Le jardin est charmant et bien équipé aussi même si nous n'en avons pas profité vu la saison.
L'environnement propose pas mal de chemins de balades.
Nous reviendrons à la belle saison !

5/5Wir waren vollends zufrieden mit der idyllisch gelegenen charmanten Unterkunft. Die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber war großartig, unaufdringlich, hilfsbereit und sehr sympathisch.
Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr einladend.

4.8/5Des propriétaires au top très accueillants disponibles. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Très bion séjour en famille dans un cadre exceptionnel et calme. Un jardin et une maison très bien équipés il manque de rien. Pensez juste à faire vos courses avant votre séjour et pensez à prendre ce qu’il faut pour une tarte aux prunes …😉

5/5Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans le gîte de Jean-Louis et Marie. Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour un groupe comme le nôtre (3 bébés et 9 adultes). Le jardin et la terrasse sont très agréables et nous y avons passé tout notre séjour ! Merci beaucoup !
