At 11km, the famous Abbey of Hautecombe which houses the tombs of the Princes of Savoy. 27km from Chambéry, capital of the Dukes of Savoy, classified as a "City of Art and History". Location parfaite
5/5Location de ce gîte dans une commune très calme et paisible.
Il ne manque rien!il y a tous les appareils de cuisine possible à disposition (fondue,raclettes, mixeur, cocottes...)plus fer à repasser, sèche cheveux...
Bref tout y est!

3/5The location of the gite is far from amenities. It was clean and basic.There were no instructions on how to use the cooker. The tour & explanation of the property was very short and hurried. When we wanted to use the cooker for lunch on Sunday it did not work. We spent well over an hour trying. Only after phoning for help were we told to disconnect all electricity, switch back on & it would work. Which it did.So obviously the problem was known about. So why was there neither a verbal notification of this or a written note? The TV also did not work, but we were told that should not be a problem for us. We always tidy a property before we leave. Lucie (the cleaner?) was not happy with us & we should clean again. We do not think guests should have to carry out a"deep clean" after their stay. We have rented gites & other properties over many years, and have never had a complaint about the state of the property. Each contact with Lucie we felt to be "brusque" and not helpful. This was a suprise to us as we have never experienced that in the past.

Bonjour, nous sommes désolés que le gite n'ait pas répondu totalement à vos attentes. Nous avons essayé toutefois d'être à votre écoute pour vous aider à faire fonctionner la cuisinière. Nous regrettons également le manque de clarté dans les informations qui vous ont été données sur le ménage du gite à réaliser par vos soins en l'absence d'option ménage de fin de séjour souscrite.

Perché sur la montagne
4/5Appartement bien équipé. Poêle et literie un peu fatiguées.
A 8km du lac mais par des petites routes de montagne soit environ 15 minutes de voiture.
Calme (3 maisons dans le village). Les cloches de l'église sonnent les heures de 7h à 22h.
